How to design tea packaging boxes?
Nowadays, various product packaging on the market is full of the purpose of showcasing to consumers. Unique packaging can make consumers have the desire to purchase, ultimately bringing more sales to enterprises. Regardless of the type of tea box design, the ultimate goal is to promote sales, so designers often consider whether their work can satisfy consumer psychology and stimulate their desire to purchase. Not flashy, smart tea boxes are great. From the customer's perspective, understanding consumer purchasing psychology is something that designers need to consider. Below, Lang Cheng will introduce how to design tea boxes:
1. Design packaging
The first thing to consider is its material and structure. The selection of packaging materials directly affects the quality of the product, which is also determined by the special properties of tea products. Therefore, it is generally recommended to choose materials with precise structure and easy opening for tea packaging. There are also many unique tea packaging in the market, but some packaging looks good but tends to be over packaged. Some are detached from the attributes of the product, blindly pursuing gorgeous decorations and impulsive colors, which do not meet the quality of the tea itself. For example, the market surface is made of plastic carved gold-plated tea packaging, and no information can be seen from the packaging, giving people a feeling of handicrafts rather than tea.
2. Color design
Color is the most attractive aspect of packaging design to customers. If the colors are matched properly, consumers will have a pleasant feeling, which can attract their attention. The packaging color is limited by the attributes of the product, and the color itself also has its own attributes. Therefore, we should be careful when using colors, striving for simplicity and liveliness, either fresh and elegant, or gorgeous and moving, or simple and natural. We should consider the customs and appreciation habits of consumers, but also consider different levels, occasions, varieties, characteristics, and the use of different colors.
3. Appearance design
The pattern design of tea packaging boxes can make products more vivid and interesting. But some packaging patterns are outdated and boring, with weak marketability, lacking a sense of the times, repetition, and lack of individuality. Ancient patterns such as dragons and phoenixes are used everywhere. Tradition is not retro, let alone replicated. Ethnicity does not represent drawing dragons or phoenixes. It should be endowed with new content, new life, and new forms. It should blend a spirit and charm.
4. Text design
The text of tea packaging is also an important component of design. The packaging can be without any decoration, but it cannot be without text.
